With the increasing influence of the younger Asian demographic, Swarovski found their popularity in Asia was losing traction.
They posed a challenge to us: How could Swarovski attract this new demographic in China?"
Solution
This exhibition combined Swarovski’s heritage, and strong cultural influence, with iconic fashion and beloved celebrities. These two assets were guaranteed attract the young target audience and saw many iconic celebrities such as Michael Jackson, Elton John and Lady Gaga!
Drawing on previous partnerships between Swarovski and iconic brands Chanel, Dior, and Saint Laurent, historical friendships and collaborations allowed guests to catch a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes world of Swarovski.

Visitors weaved through the exhibit, as the secrets of Swarovski’s story and tradition unfolded. The Old Convention Centre in Shanghai and Daelim Museum in Seoul provided rich cultural connection and elegant settings.
The exhibition brought a modern and relevant twist to the traditional world of crystal making. Guests were invited to explore the mesmerizing digital mirrors. The mirrors showcased a dazzling selection of Swarovski gems, enticing viewers to indulge in the allure of radiant reflections and intricate designs. With a simple touch, guests were able to instantly transform their appearances, and share their new jewels on their social media.
